Developing a Multiplying Factor for ESD: Competence-Enhancing Support for Faculty Staff

The project has a combined bottom-up and top-down approach: working with experienced lecturers to develop on/offline guidance and tools, helping novice lecturers to integrate SD into their courses, supporting curriculum re-design, involving faculty members as multipliers, and supporting the University management in mainstreaming SD in teaching at different levels.
The project aims to build sufficient institutional and personal capacity to develop a multiplying factor for ESD, based on an inclusive principle (all disciplines can contribute to SD) but aiming for transformative learning.
Professional Development Approach
Co-developed on/offline Guidelines and Tools along with training materials and coaching, to provide lecturers with professional support for developing their ESD teaching, learning skills and competences. PD certification will also be considered.
